Vicky Schreiber/Shelagh Savage
Vicky Schreiber is the EMPOWER Program Manager at the Coady International Institute. She is working to strengthen community driven, asset based development through a partnership lens to enhance the voice and agency of women in decisions and actions to achieve social justice and reduce inequalities. Vicky has 20 years of working in countries of Sub-Sahara Africa and countries of the Amazon region in Latin America. She specialises in program management and organisational capacity building initiatives using inclusive, participatory approaches and strong gender analysis.
Shelagh Savage is Associate Director of Collaborative Partnerships at Coady responsible for strategic support to partnership programming and educational design. This involves collaboration with key donors and educational partners in areas of research, design and facilitation of Coady Certificates and short courses in “Re-thinking Partnership”. With a strong belief that coalition building, and collaboration is essential to influence positive change, Shelagh has worked in partnership with communities; civil society organizations and multilateral agencies, globally and remains active in Canadian civil society networking through national board memberships and local community organizations.
